Weekend.

Happy Monday!
My weekend was lovely and full of sweet memories. A few weekends ago, we searched for a relatively close flea market to us - and we found one! It's 15 minutes away from us, in Alabama. We went last weekend on a Sunday and it wasn't very busy. We went to buy peanuts at one of the stands, and the guy running it said he was from my hometown - small world! He told us to come back on a Saturday and we'd find that there would be tons more going on and several more booths and vendors, and he was right! I'm afraid I didn't get very many pictures - I had to keep up with a tired four-year-old and try to shuffle through hidden treasures. If any of you have ever taken a small child with you thrifting, you know my troubles! The Peanut Guy was right, there were tons and tons of little "shops"! It was so much fun! Our good friend Fianna tagged along with us to explore, and we both left with Mexican Falsa blankets - they are so cozy and beautiful to look at. Josh surprised me with buying a glass cake stand too! After walking around in the heat, we made a pit stop at one of their several shaved ice stands and enjoyed a sweet treat.

A enjoyed a lemonade while Josh, Fi and I indulged in fuzzy navel.

The Flea market is such fun, they had several neat things going on besides just shops. Several people were selling animals (which I felt should have been put somewhere where they could walk, too many of them were kept in tiny cages ): ) and they had pony rides! We didn't get a chance to take A on a pony ride, but next time we plan to.

When we got home, we discovered our wedding rings had arrived. We ordered them from Brent&Jess from Fabuluster. Opening the box, I think we both may have squeaked a little (okay just me, but he was stoked too!) they looked so sweet nestled up in their box of crinkled paper!!

Ahh! I die.

We didn't know which ring belonged to who, but comparing the finger prints we ultimately figured it out. My fingers are thick, and he's got skinny ones so we couldn't really compare by size. We ordered the single fingerprint silver ring set, and had fun with the kits when we had to mail off our ring prints.

Our weird black molds used to make the prints.

The rings turned out gorgeous and more perfect than we could have ever imagined. I cannot wait to wear it!! I love the idea, and I love the design. If any of you readers out there plan to get married soon, or just want to invest in a sweet ring for your honeybee then please visit their Etsy shop - seriously, these guys rock!!

See!? So beautiful.

Just a few more minutes until I can rock the fingerprint ring, and even better - be married to my best friend. I hope that you had a lovely weekend!

xoxo, Lindsey.
